The decorations were up, the tension was high, and the stakes were even higher. This December marked the return of the Howcroft Christmas Games, our now-annual tradition of pitting colleague against colleague in a quest for festive glory.
Over the last two weeks, 20+ contenders faced off in dynamic duos. We saw teamwork, a few missed doubles, and plenty of "tactical" maneuvers as the brackets narrowed down through the semi-finals.
The Grand Finale On Friday, December 26th, the office transformed into a stadium for the final showdown. Our two remaining contenders went head-to-head across a grueling triathlon of skill:
- Darts: Precision under pressure.
- Pool: Geometry meets nerves of steel.
- Playing Cards: The ultimate test of the poker face.
The Results After a hard-fought battle, our Managing Director, Allan, was on hand to present the prizes. A massive congratulations to our 2025 podium finishers:
- 1st Place (£100): Adam Richardson
- 2nd Place (£60): Jake
In the spirit of Howcroft, nobody went home empty-handed. Allan ensured every single player received a cash prize scaled to their final ranking—proving that at Howcroft, effort and competition are always rewarded.
